二. Presentation
1. Draw the sun, the Earth, the moon and some stars on the board. And ask the students if they know what they are.
2. Teach the words Earth and star. Then introduce the new words sun and moon.
3. Write “big” on the board. Ask the students to make sentences about the things with big. E.g. The sun is bigger than the Earth.
4. Draw a line between the sun and the Earth and introduce the words “far” and “near”. Say: “ The sun is far from the Earth. The moon is near to the Earth.” Teach the sentences and let them make some sentences with the words.
5. Teach the words “planet” and “star”.
6. Show Transparency. Play the Pupil’s Book Cassette and point to the pictures. Ask the students to repeat after the cassette.
三. Practice
Show Transparency. Read aloud the dialogue on the page or play the Pupil’s Book Cassette.
Ask the pupils to work in groups of three and role-play the dialogue.
四. Sum up
The moon is near to the Earth.
The sun is far from the Earth.
五. Homework
Copy the new words and recite them.
Read Part A for 20 minutes.
