Such as have a talk with / come across / before long / keep on doing / translate… into, etc. 2．Get Ss to review the main patterns and sentences: so… that / such… that / be forced to do / come across / get on/along with / give some advice on / be sure about / make progress. 3．Get Ss to write sth about Zhou En-lai according to the given information and threads. Teaching aids: a computer, competition table on the blackboard, etc. Teaching procedure: A．Words and expressions 1．A competition for words and expressions (in computer) (in SsAB Ex. Ⅰ) T can prepare some presents for Ss, at the end of the class the students who do excellently will get the presents. T can introduce some rules about the competition. There are three groups of questions: A, B, C. They are in three colours, the questions in group A are the easiest, the questions in group C are the most difficult. Ss can choose the group, then T will show them the question, if they answer correctly, he or she will get a flower in the same colour with the question. One side is Group 1, the other side is Group 2．The group that first fills the eight blanks will be the winner. You can stick a competition table on the blackboard, a volunteer can go to the front to stick flower and record the scores of the two groups. Ss can choose the questions and do rush-answer of their own accord, then decide the winner. Altogether there are 16 questions, containing the main words and expressions in this unit. Three groups of exercises are as the following: (These exercises are in computer, they are in three groups, they can be chosen and changed freely.)
