Period 3 A sample lesson plan for Using Language (A FACT OR AN OPINION) Introduction Language is learned to be used in and for communication. So in this period we shall have the students read a passage about opinions and evidences first. Then they listen to a tape about the missing Amber Room, taking notes at the same time. Third, students practice speaking based on the listening and making use of the expressions and idioms learned in their speaking. Warming up by talking about “evidence and opinion” Morning, class. We always say, “We must respect evidences and can’t wholly depend on one’s opinions”.
