The matter is , it can all fall apart if you don’t have a clear idea of what you are getting into. Be sure to make the best of it with these tips for fresh college students. 1.Go to class Oh, it will be so tempting to sleep in. After all, you are a college student! You can do what you want, right? Well, you sure can if you want to scramble to make up for it later on. It is much easier to hold a GPA（绩点） than to attempt to bring it up! 2.Get involved You might be attending school in a different city, or even in a different province. Either way you can afford to expand your interests and meet new people. College is an easy way to make contacts and new friends! 3.Consider joining the student union or some associations Yes, you have to go to social events. College is not a place only for studying, you need to get some experience and learn to communicate effectively. Joining the student union or some associations is a good way to improve yourself, through which you can not only learn how to deal with problems better but also harvest a lot of friends. 4.Keep in contact with your family Yes, you should make contacts and friends in college, this doesn’t mean you should ignore your family who always support you, or encourage you to get where you are today. Give them a call, text them, send them a card, or do something to let them know that you are concerned about them. 5.Learn from mistakes If you did something stupid, learn from your mistakes.
