We, the Heads of State and Government, Ministers and High Representatives, have gathered at the United Nations Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development (Habitat III) from 17 to 20 October 2016 in Quito, Ecuador, with the participation of sub-national and local governments, parliamentarians, civil society, indigenous peoples and local communities, the private sector, professionals and practitioners, the scientific and academic community, and other relevant stakeholders, to adopt a New Urban Agenda.1. 我们是各个国家、政府的首脑、部长以及高级代表,在2016年的10月17-20日相聚于厄瓜多尔首都基多,参加联合国关于住房和永续城市发展的会议(人居III),通过了新城市议程。参与会议的还有各个国家、省市和地方政府、议员、公民组织、原住民和当地居民、私营部门、专业人士和从业者、科研和学术群体,以及其他利益相关方。2.By 2050 the world urban population is expected to nearly double, making urbanization one of the 21st century’s most transformative trends.
