Unit 3 On the Phone Part I Warm-up 1. Discuss in groups. What advice would you like to give on making proper business phone calls? I. Introduce yourself at the beginning of the call. II. Find out if the person you are calling is fully available to talk. If not, try to schedule an appointment to call back. III. Use notes to help guide you through the specifics you want to mention. IV. Ask the other person to repeat what you are saying in their own words. V. Stick to the subject and do not allow the conversation to drag out with meaningless chatter. VI. Review the important points of the discussion, going over each person’s responsibilities. VII.
