1. Use a calendar to introduce festivals.
Teacher says: Look, it is red. Can you tell me why? Yes. Because it’s a festival.
2. Present pictures to show the new word “celebrate”.
3. Talk freely about the favourite festivals.
1. Point to the date: October 30th. and say this is also a festival. It is Halloween.
2. Read the word and explain its meaning.

2. Look at the comic strip and read after the tape.
3. Ask more questions to check for their
understanding.
