This design according to the overall level measurement instrument function requirement and domestic and international display instrument development trend, and determine the level data display instrument design requirements and overall design scheme. Modules of this system of software and hardware design, detail by detail discussion and analysis demonstrated. This design is based on process control laboratory in process control experiment device as the water tank level measurement object, design I/V switching circuits, will 4 ~ 20mA standard current signal transform into 0 ~ 2.5 V voltage signal, into the serial interface function with SPI TLC2543 d/a converter, d/a change. This design USES the American ATMEL company production of low power consumption, high performance COMS type eight monolithic integrated circuit AT89S52 as microprocessors. Adopted HD7279 as the man-machine interface circuit, completed the 4 buttons input and four lends real-time display level the digital quantity. This design by considering the reliability design watchdog X25045 as low voltage monitoring, data off electrical protection and prevent program run fly. Design completed RS485 communication interface circuit and software agreement. Digital instrument has measured values overflow alarm function. In software, design the digital filtering subroutine, key processing procedure and display subroutine, communication interrupt subroutines. This design is a kind of special finished the design of the data display instrument can be used in the production process, the liquid level data display, not only realize the effective control of industrial production, and in lower production cost, simplify the management etc, has certain effect significantly the application value.
