A gimmick is a trick or way to grab people’s attention. The cereal uses the gimmick of a free toy inside to attract kids to buy their product. If something is sprinkled, it means tiny pieces of something else have been scattered over it. We sprinkled our cupcakes with candy dots. When things expand, they get bigger. The teacher told me to expand my writing to include more details. Something that erupts breaks out of its bounds. The water will erupt from the fire hydrant when you open it. If you do something in a thorough way, you do a careful and complete job. If you do not do a thorough job brushing your teeth, you could get cavities. When something takes a lot of deliberation, it takes a great deal of thought. After much deliberation, I had a great idea. *
