Last month in my English speaking class, my teacher asked us to deliver a group presentation on the life of president Obama. The whole class was divided into groups of three and I was assigned group leader. At first I was nervous since I didn’t know much about president Obama. But I quickly calmed down and realized that as a group, none of us is entirely responsible for the presentation. Instead, all of us are equally responsible. The key to success is effective collaboration and communication. So after leading a 10 minutes discussion, I divided the presentation into 3 parts. Part 1, the childhood of president Obama. Part 2, political life of Obama pre-president age. Part 3, Obama as president. Each of us took the responsibility of one single part and searched for information in the library, in online journals and in the book of Barack Obama the dreams from my father. After two days, we rehearsed the presentation twice. Finally, we made an impressive presentation at class.
