LECTURE
In this section you are introduced to the topic.
An overview is given and difficult sections of
the topic are covered.
Only a summary of the lecture is uploaded to
eLearning Space.
The workouts on the board are not available
on eLearning space.

WORKSHOP
In this section we will be working together on
the materials covered in the lecture.
During the workshop, examples of how the
lecture materials can be applied to various
problems will be given.
You will be asked to help in doing the
problems on the board for the whole class
when appropriate.
ASSIGNMENT
An assignment will be given every week.
The work will be conducted outside the normal
class time by each student.
Students will be instructed to do the
assignments either on MATLAB or manually.
During the tutorial hour, students may be
called to present their solutions on the board.
No mark is given, though the degree of
participation is recorded.

Tests: 25%
Week 7 and Week 10 during lectures
Computer Aided Final Exam on MATLAB: 50%
Laboratory: 25%

FREQUENCY RESPONSE
The steady state of response of a system to a sinusoidal
input is known as the frequency response of that system.
Where
Steady State response is when the transient response
has disappeared.
Transient response is the response of a plant to a
command input or disturbance.
