PC UPGRADE SERVICE – REPAIR CENTER Service Overview This service is a need based part upgrade(s) service provided at a nominal fee whilst your system is in our repair center. Our repair center Expert will contact you and inform of part upgrade(s) possible on your system (if any) and provide you with the option of availing this service. Key Service Steps – Dell’s Responsibilities ? Dell Repair Center Expert will contact you if any opportunity for part upgrade(s) is identified at the repair center on your system. ? Information on why the part upgrade is being suggested will be provided. ? In case part upgrade(s) requested, provide you with an estimated cost for upgrade(s) which would include upgrade service, parts and VAT charge. ? In case pc upgrade service purchased, upgrade the system and return it as per your standard service agreement. Upgrade Part(s) Options Available: ? Hard Drive – depending on your requirement we can upgrade to a higher capacity drive of your choice and which is supported by your system. ? Memory –upgrade to 3 GB can be provided on all systems (except mini) depending on system configuration. ? Color Change - we can swap all existing colored plastics with the color of your choice from the existing color options available for your system model. ? Battery – For portables only – We can upgrade your system battery to a higher cell battery if available for your system type or provide you with a new battery if your existing battery has run out of the standard battery life. In case you would like any other upgrade(s) apart from the above for your system please inform our repair center technicians and they would gladly be able to provide information on feasibility of same.
