To enhance skills training and ensure relevance, the components and circuits have been selected to simulate typical split-type air conditioning systems for real life work experiences. The training system is mounted on a mobile stand which is constructed of heavy gauge steel, primed and finished with a durable blue baking enamel. It also includes one storage compartment to house lose test instruments and accessories. Heavy duty casters are mounted onto the base of this mobile stand. The control panel is finished in a white bakingenamel and silk screened to identify the various controls and their functions. The control panel includes indicator lights, a breaker switch, an on/off compressor breaker switch, and a blower speed control knob. A student manual is provided with the training system.
