中西审美观的对比研究,英语其它论文 The Differences of Aesthetic Values between China and the West [Abstract] Aesthetic value is a question that has long been interesting scholars and laymen alike. This paper aims at finding the reasons of the different aesthetic values between China and the west. At the beginning, it draws on the successful story of Lv Yan as the introduction to usher in a clear definition of beauty and aesthetics. After touching upon the similarities of the Chinese and western aesthetic values, the paper mainly discusses the different aesthetic values between the Chinese people and the western people, trying to find out the reasons that cause the differences of aesthetic values. And finally, an elementary conclusion is reached that there indeed exist great differences of aesthetic values between the two cultures. The people of a given culture look at things from their own perspective: the object signified is the same, but its message is quite different due to cultural differences. So during the cross-cultural communication, people should appreciate the similarities and accept the differences. This is the best way to solve the problems of intercultural communication.[Key words] aesthetic values; differences; Chinese and western cultures 中西审美观的对比研究 【摘 要】 审美观问题历来都受到人们的关注。在日常的审美活动中，拥有不同文化背景的人们常常会出现很大的分歧：中国的超级名模吕燕便是其中的一个典型例子。本论文以吕燕的成功事例为切入点，从而对美和审美观做出了明确的定义。在探讨中西方审美观相似性的基础上，本论文着重探讨中西方审美观的不同之出，并力图找出造成这种不同的根源。最终得出一个初步结论，即中西方两种文化之间确实在审美观问题上存在着很多不同之处。因为每一个民族的文化都是经历了极其漫长的时间才慢慢积累而成的，具有唯一性，故他们看待事物的角度也不同，常常是所指对象相同，隐含意义不同。因此，人们在跨文化交际过程中，应当在正确对待民族文化相同之处的基础上更要接受其不同之处，这才是解决跨文化交际问题的最好方法。【关键词】 审美观；差异；中西文化 1.
