Audrey Hepburn The story begins when Princess Ann is on a publicized tour of several European capitals. Her schedule is always packed, and she can’t stand it any more. So that night in Rome, she secretly leaves her embassy. She sleeps on a public bench, then an American reporter named Joe meets her, but he doesn’t know she is the princess. He takes her to his apartment for her safety. He lets Ann sleep in his sofa and he himself on the bed. The next morning, Ann is still sleeping soundly when Joe goes to work. His boss tells him that they will have a conference with the Princess, but the Princess is suddenly sick and the conference has to be canceled . Then Joe sees a picture of the Princess and recognizes that the young woman with him is the Princess. He tells this to one of his friends. They decide to take pictures of Princess’ unknown side. So they spend the whole day with Ann playing in Rome. Ann and Joe gradually fall in love with each other, but they know that it is impossible for them to be in love because of the barrier between them. At last, the princess is sill the princess. She has made a total of 31 high quality movies. Her elegance and style will always be remembered in film history , for she is recognized as The No.3 Of The Top 100 Movie Stars of Last Century. By the end of the sixties, after her divorce, Audrey decided to retire while she was on top. From time to time, she would appear on the silver screen. One film was Robin and Marian in1976 with Sean Connery in the same year. In 1988, Audrey became a special ambassador to the United Nations fund helping children in Latin America and Africa, a position she retained until 1993. She was named to Peoples magazine as one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world. Her last film was Always in 1989. Audrey Hepburn died on January 20, 1993 in Switzerland, from colon cancer.
