It develops along with he- modynamic changes and the complex changes of various humoral factors. Detection of heart failure biomarkers is one of the most convenient and effective means in diagnosing heart failure. At present, a commonly used biomarker in clinical practice is natriuretic peptide, but there exists certain limitations. Therefore exploration of other sensitive and reliable bio- markers will play a significant role in the early diagnosis, proper treatment and prognosis of heart failure. This paper makes a review on the current widely used biomarkers and their broad application prospect in recent studies. 【Key words】 Heart failure; Detection; Biomarkers; Natriureti
