Ask students about a problem in their daily lives. Motivate them to give advice to solve the problem.
Step 1 : Listen and answer:
1. What’s Alice’s problem?
2. How many suggestions are offered in the passage?
3. What’s the second suggestion?
Step 2: Eddie’s problem:
Practice and act them out.
Fill in the blanks and then make a dialogue.
Step 3: Students’ problems:
Raise students’ possible problems.
Fill in the blanks about:
traffic problems, study problems and generation gap.
Discuss and answer:
When you are in trouble , who will you turn to for help? Why?
In which way will you ask for help?
