Silk Road concludes Onland Silk Road and Maritime Silk Road. Silk Road cross the whole territory of Kazakhstan, Almaty is briefly controling the Silk Road in the throat, leading to the ancient Chinese Silk Road in Central Asia。It must pass through a long act as an important relay station in the western trade. Therefore, this article will discuss in detail the historical development of the Silk Road and economic and cultural development of Kazakhstan and the role of Kazakhstan in the Silk Road construction. This article will also discuss the condition of economic and cultural coorperation between Kazakhstan and China.Then the article will introduce the“New Silk Road”，Kazakhstan’s roll in it,and look into future possibilities in the development of the“New Silk Road”.
