Procedures and time Allotment:

Read the new words and expressions of the part of Reading
(Books closed)Have a dictation of them(Ask some students to the blackboard to write and the rest stay where they are.)

Step1.Lead-in
Write down the two unknown words—INTELLIGENCE; ETYMOLOGY on the blackboard and ask the students their meanings and parts of speech.
When the students say NO, the teacher will recommend a dictionary.
Ask and answer:
