Step I Warming up
Get the students to do Activity 1 on Page 26 and also talk about other pictures. Get them familiar with talking about different clothes styles.
T: I like beautiful clothes very much. They can make me and also people around me feel happy. Do you like beautiful clothes? … What kind of clothes do you like? Now, here are some pictures for you.
Show the following pictures on the screen.

Give students three minutes to talk freely. Three minutes later:

Get students to do Activity 3.
T: Do you know Wangfujing in Beijing? And have you been there? It’s a shopping street. People always like to go shopping there. Now Lingling and Betty are buying some clothes in Wangfujing. Listen to the dialogue between them to see what they are talking about and choose the best answers to the questions in Part 4.
