Gone are the days when they could do whatever they like. 第一句中的情态动词can出现在句子主语you的前面，这是由于状语only in this way置于句首时，句子要用部分倒装；第二句中位于句首的gone是句子的表语，are是句子的连系动词，而the days是句子的主语，该句显然把“主-系-表”句型结构的语序完全倒装了过来，此处是为了强调。 [察言观色] 请观察下列句子, 说说各句中引起倒装的原因和倒装的类型。 1. On the top of the hill stands a big pine tree. 2. No sooner had we reached the station than the train left. 3. So frightened was he that he didn’t dare move. 4. Young as he is, he knows a lot.
