The focus of the course is on business communication and cross-cultural techniques, paying particular attention to word choice, presentation skills, memos, cover letters, interviewing skills, and cultural considerations in a global economy. There will be one section for college students and one section for adults/business professionals. Course Goals: ? Develop effective business communication skills ? Write effective memos and business proposals ? Perfect presentation skills ? Consider cross-cultural dimensions in a global economy The program is challenging, interactive, and practical. Students gain confidence and leadership skills while improving their communication skills in professional English. Students participate in final group presentations and receive a certificate of completion at the end of the program. Both class groups will cover the same topics but will not meet in the same classroom.
