Step I Leading in
T: Up to now we’ve discussed different ways of learning English. Who would like to say something about what‘ve learned in this unit?
S1: From lesson 1 we’ve learned some recommendations on how to learn English well.
S2: In Lesson 2 we learned varieties of English. To communicate in real life, we should have much exposure to different English.
S3: If we want to avoid being misunderstood, we must learn its culture too. And body language is part of culture. In Lesson 3 we learned Body language.
T: Quite good! There is another effective way to improve your English. That is to attend a language school.
Step II Before you start
Deal with Ex1 on page 12.
Ask students to read the advertisement and the letter to the New Future Language School. Then they will work in groups to find what information the writer of the letter want to clarify.
