STEP 1 Function Talking about the future Activity 1. Read the extract from The City of the Future and answer the questions. Keys: A3, B4, C2, D1, E6, F5 Activity 3. Underline the most appropriate form of the verb. 1. No one knows what the world will be like / is going to be like in the future . 2. What are you doing / are you going to do when you leave school ? 3. What time does the plane arrive / will the plane arrive ? 4. Look out ! We’re having / ’re going to have an accident ! 5.
