Manufactures/suppliers/consumers need to understand the eco-friendly attributes possessed by a particular product. Such understanding will also help producers improve the green attributes of existing products. This presentation will briefly introduce the concepts of life cycle assessment, product carbon footprint, eco-design etc. Brief case studies will also be highlighted to illustrate the implications of these techniques on houseware products.
