Methods from the People’s Liberation Army No. 306 Hospital, 128 cases of cerebral infarction in patients with TCM syndrome factor score and the determination of serum b-FGF . The results of serum b-FGF compared with blood stasis syndrome group and the non-blood stasis syndrome group were not significantly different (Pgt; 0.05). Cerebral blood stasis syndrome and serum b-FGF was no significant correlation (Pgt; 0.05). Conclusions The acute brain infarction with blood stasis syndrome and b-FGF was no significant correlation, from the cellular level for the study of the biological basis of stasis of great significance. MethodsAll subjects comprised 128 patients with acute ischemis stroke, which were based on Diagnostic Criteria for Cerebral Vascular Diseases in 2005. Diagnosis for syndromes defined by traditional Chinese medicine were made according to Diagnostic Criteria for Stroke in 1994.Patients were examined with ELISA for MMP-9 and TIMP-1 in blood serum.ResultsThe content of b-FGF had no difference between patients with BSS and CI and those patients without BSS had CI (Pgt; 0.05). There had no significant correlation between b-FGF and BSS in patients with cerebral infarction (Pgt; 0.05). ConclusionThere is significant correlationship between b-FGF and BSS in patients with cerebral infarction. This preliminary study is of importance for study in biological basis of BSS by cell levels.
