Methods with related literature from 1998 to 2006 and treated 23 patients with pathologically confirmed cases of brain tumor clinical data of stroke retrospectively. The results of brain metastases in 13 cases, seven cases of glioma, meningioma in 1 case, pituitary adenoma, 1 case of melanoma in 1 case. brain tumor apoplexy manifested as intracranial hematoma and subarachnoid hemorrhage. Conclusions The clinical result The vascular changes are the basis for brain tumor stroke, CT scans for early diagnosis and treatment are important. Methods Retrospective analysis of 23 cases of pathologically confirmed brain tumor stroke from 1998 to 2006 with reviewing of related literatures. Results The pathological types and cases included 13 cases of metastatic tumors, 7 gliomas tumors, 1 meningioma, 1 pituitary tumor, 1 melanomas. The clinical presentations of brain tumor apoplexy were intracranial hematoma and subarachnoid hemorrhage. Conclusion The blood vessel changes resulting from the tumor are the basic factor of brain tumor apoplexy. CT scan provides the significance to the early diagnosis and treatment of tumor apoplexy.
