[Keywords:] stomach neoplasms; immunohistochemistry; 5  FU [ABSTRACT] Objective: To study the influence of 5  Fliorouracil on structure of human gastric cancer cells and the expressions of GSTπ .Methods: 5  Fliorouracil was added to culture medium of BGC  823 gastric cancer cells and continuously cultured for 5h or 10h , then the human gastric cancer cells were stained with haematoxylin  Eosin (HE), dyed with immunohistochemical method and acid U  lead citrate, which was observed under light and electiom microscope.Results: BGC  823 cells, features developed by aberration and the oraganells were destructed severely in experimental group of 10 hours, and the ash of GSTπ was changed.Conclusion: The influence of 5  Fliorouracil on ultrastructure and the expressions of GSTπ in 10 hours group was obvious.
