 PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 16 AECOPD noninvasive positive pressure ventilation in the treatment of respiratory failure with the clinical observation of consciousness [Abstract] Objective noninvasive positive pressure ventilation (NIPPV) in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with acute exacerbation (AECOPD) and severe respiratory failure in patients with the efficacy of consciousness. Methods AECOPD selected 30 patients with severe respiratory failure with disturbance of consciousness patients with bi-level positive pressure breathing machine mask assisted ventilation, dynamic observation of NIPPV before treatment and after treatment 2 h, 24 h in patients with consciousness, respiration, heart rate and arterial blood gas pH, PaCO2, PaO2 changes and treatment outcomes after , NIPPV adverse reactions and complications. Results in 26 cases of 30 patients treated by NIPPV in patients with respiratory rate (RR), heart rate (HR), arterial blood pH, PaO2, PaCO2 and conscious state was significantly improved compared with before treatment (P lt;0.01), the effective rate was 86.67% (26/30). Conclusion Bi-level noninvasive positive pressure ventilation on selective AECOPD and severe respiratory failure with unconscious patients is effective.
