Methods: 34 patients with metastatic breast cancer patients clinical characteristics, TACE compared to chemotherapy alone and chemotherapy efficacy and prognosis of the two methods. Results: 34 cases of breast cancer patients with postoperative liver metastasis, simple and effective systemic chemotherapy group 9 cases (42.9%), systemic chemotherapy and hepatic artery embolization chemotherapy group, 7 patients (53.8%), the whole group median follow-up period of 16 months (3 ~ 51 months), with a median survival time was 17 months. 1,2,3-year survival rates were 37%, 18%, 11%. Conclusion: The use of systemic chemotherapy and hepatic artery embolization chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer liver metastases after curative effect is better, worthy of further study. Methods: Clinical features of 34 breast carcinoma patients with liver metastasis, treated from 2000 to 2006, were analyzed retrospectively. The efficacies of different treatment approaches were compared. Results: The total responsive rates were 47.1% for all patients, 42.9% for the 21 patients received systemic chemotherapy, 53.8% for the 13 patients chemotherapy plus TACE. At a median follow-up of 16 (3 ~ 51 months), the median survival rate was 17, and the 1 -, 2 - ,3-year survival rates were 37%, 18% and 11% respectively.
