Method to discharge based on patient records retrospectively to investigate the January 1, 2009 the Center January 30 -9 aged care ward nosocomial infection rate of patients discharged from hospital and related factors. Results 684 cases of elderly patients over 60 years, 122 patients suffering from a variety of nosocomial infections, the nosocomial infection rate was 17.84%. nosocomial infection rate increased with age and prolonged hospital stay increased. nosocomial respiratory tract infection and urinary tract based, respectively, 74.59% and 22.95%. based on number of diseasesgt; = 3 patients, 73 cases, accounting for 59.84%; 2 of 40 cases, accounting for 32.78%; single-species 9 cases, accounting for 7.38%. Conclusion elderly prone to nosocomial infection during hospitalization, the incidence of infection and underlying diseases, age and length of stay was positively correlated. Methods The RIH and it’s relative factors is reviewed and surveyed according to the cases of patients discharged from senile nursing ward in the center in 2009.1.1-2009.9.30. Results Of 684 cases senile patients over the age of 60,122 patients suffered from a variety of infection in hospital and it’s RIH is 17.84%; the RIH increased with increasing age and prolongation of hospitalization time.
