Methods using steam distillation, cold soak method, ultrasonic method and supercritical CO2 extraction of peppermint oil, by gas chromatography for determination of menthol content. The results of supercritical CO2 extraction of menthol mint oil yield and yield were 2.43% and 1.77%, ultrasonic method were 1.34% and 1.09%, the cold soak method were 1.27% and 1.02%, respectively, by steam distillation 1.15% and 0.90%.
