Methods coulometric array electrochemical detector and norepinephrine (NE), dopamine ( DA), 5-HT (5 HT), 5 hydroxyindole acetic acid (5 HIAA), using Phenomenex C18 reversed phase column (150 mm 4.60 mm, 5 m), mobile phase of acetonitrile buffer (volume ratio 87:13 ), a flow rate of 1 mL min-1, the column temperature was 35 . the results of four kinds of monoamine neurotransmitters in the detection limit is 0.015 15 ~ 0.018 15 ng, recovery was 85.3% ~ 100.5%. Conclusions The method rapid, accurate, sensitive, simple sample preparation, etc., can be used for rat brain monoamine neurotransmitters in the separation and detection. The mobile phase, consisted of acetonitrile water phase (13:87), was at a flow rate of 1 mL min -1. The column temperature was kept at 35 . The levels of NE, DA, 5 HT and 5 HIAA were determined.Results The minimum measurement limit was 0.015 15-0.018 15 ng. The average recoveries were 85.3% -100.5%.
