[Methods] The solvent extraction separation of total alkaloid of Dendrobium nobile and crude polysaccharide; cultured rat lens by adding H2O2 and total alkaloids (or polysaccharide) co-cultured 24h; respectively cultured 6,12,18,24 h A total of four hours in the anatomy of the lens under a microscope to observe and record changes in turbidity; detection of lens water-soluble protein, glutathione (GSH) content and total superoxide dismutase (T  SOD) and malondialdehyde (MDA ) activity. [Results] of total alkaloid of Dendrobium nobile and crude polysaccharide lens can reduce the turbidity, and significantly increased water-soluble lens proteins, GSH content and T  SOD activity and lower MDA activity (all P amp;lt;0.05), of total alkaloid of Dendrobium in which high-dose group the best results. [Conclusion] of total alkaloid of Dendrobium nobile and crude polysaccharide in vitro there is a certain anti-cataract effect, its mechanism of antagonism of the oxidative damage of the lens, while the total alkaloids is better than the crude polysaccharides.
