 PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 18 Diabetic cataract with high myopia surgery analysis 【Abstract】 Objective To analyze the small-incision cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation, and phacoemulsification cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation in addition to the treatment of diabetic cataract with high myopia efficacy and complications. METHODS in January 2002 ~ October 2006 diagnosed with diabetes during the cataract patients with high myopia in 126 cases (144), 112 Ⅱ ~ Ⅲ grade nuclear, phacoemulsification with posterior chamber intraocular lens implantation in addition to surgery ; 32 Ⅳ ~ Ⅴ grade nuclear, using a small incision extracapsular cataract extraction and posterior chamber intraocular lens implantation. Results 144 diabetic cataract with high myopia postoperative visual acuity improved in varying degrees, of which 112 ( “80%) after 1 week uncorrected visual acuity ≥ 0.4. Conclusion small incision cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation, and phacoemulsification cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation in addition to the treatment of diabetic cataract with high myopia affirmed.
