Approach in December 2001 ~ December 2005 to non-tumor patients with 200 cases of nipple discharge for breast duct endoscopy. Among them, surgical postoperative pathological examination to observe its diagnostic rate; non-surgical patients for interventional treatment of duct lesions observed its efficacy. [Keywords:] breast duct endoscopy; galactorrhea Value of breast fiberoptic duct endoscopy for diagnosis of nipple discharge without lump [Abstract] Objective To study the value of fiberoptic duct endoscopy (FDS) for the diagnosis of nipple discharge without lump.Methods Two hundred patients with nipple discharge without lump were studied using FDS from 2001 to 2005.Some were operated, the results were compared with postoperative pathology.Others were adopted the intraductal interventional therapy and observe the effect.Results FDS detect normal in 20 cases, galactophoritis in 132 cases, mastitis in 1 case, intraductal papilloma in 36 cases, malignant tumor in 1 case.Compared with pathology, the correspondency rate of the diagnosis was 81.25%.
