 PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 10 Laparoscopic gastric ulcer repair in the treatment of acute gastric ulcer perforation [Abstract] Objective: To evaluate the laparoscopic repair of gastric ulcer patients with acute gastric ulcer perforation clinical experience. Methods: from June 1997 to December 2007 35 cases of acute gastric ulcer perforation in patients with laparoscopic repair of peptic ulcer perforation. Results: 35 patients with duodenal ulcer perforation in 28 cases, seven cases of perforated gastric ulcer, perforation diameter of 0.5 ~ 0.8cm, operative time was 80 ~ 180min, were successful surgery, postoperative pain in patients with mild, were not the use of analgesics. Postoperative rehabilitation goes well, postoperative hospital stay 5 ~ 10d, an average of 6.5d, incisions are healing class, discharged. Helicobacter pylori eradication after discharge to be medicine, oral H2 receptor antagonist treatment. Conclusion: Laparoscopic surgery for acute gastric ulcer perforation, and abdominal surgery as safe and effective. Gastric ulcer perforation in patients with intraoperative rapid pathological examination required, if the malignant lesion should be transit laparotomy. [Keywords:] Laparoscopy; ulcer perforation [Abstract] Objective: To summarize the clinical experience of laparoscopic repair of acute perforation for gastroduodenal ulcer.Methods: From June 1997 to December 2007, thirty  five patients underwent laparoscopic repair of perforated peptic ulcers.Results: Twenty  eight patients were suffered from perforated duodenal bulbar ulcer, and seven patients were suffered from perforated gastric antrum ulcer.The diameter of the perforation was 0.5  0.8cm, the operative time was 80  180min, all laparoscopic operations were successful without any operative complications.Slight incisional pain and administration of postoperative pain medication was not used.Postoperative recovery was smooth, the length of hospitalization were 5  10 days after surgery
