 PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 9 Multifocal intraocular lens correction of high myopia observed [Abstract] Objective: To evaluate patients with high myopia by lens phacoemulsification with multifocal intraocular lens implantation after the visual quality. Methods: patients with high myopia small incision phacoemulsification, implantation of multifocal intraocular lens (MIOL) 24 eyes monofocal intraocular lens (SIOL) 44 eyes; 6 months after surgery were observed in the postoperative uncorrected distance and near best corrected far and near, the best degree, as far under the near vision correction, de- mirror the situation, subjective vertigo, photophobia, and a sense of poor night vision and visual disorders symptoms. Results: After 6 months, MIOL group and uncorrected near vision SIOL group, best corrected near vision, distance vision under the difference was statistically significant (P lt;0.05); MIOL group 91.67% off the mirror SIOL group was better than 54.55% (2 = 6.544, P lt;0.05); two subjective vertigo, photophobia, and a sense of the difference was not statistically significant There were no night visual disturbances. Conclusion: MIOL implantation for high myopia, can provide patients with better vision and a good full visual quality, significantly reduced the postoperative dependence on glasses.
