Methods symptom checklist, Eysenck Personality Questionnaire pairs of Anhui Medical College 158 nursing students to investigate and compare with the national norm. The results of male and female students symptom checklist, Eysenck Personality Questionnaire assessed with the domestic norm was no significant difference (Pamp;gt; 0.05), symptom checklist assessed phobic girls were significantly higher than boys (P amp;lt;0.01) . Conclusion health care in the nursing schools to conduct enrollment of boys to meet the clinical and social needs. Methods 158 students in nursing speciality in AnHui Medical Academy were tested by symptom checklist90 (SCL90) and Eysenck personality questionnaire (EPQ). The results were compared with Chinese norm. Results The evaluations of SCL90 and EPQ of both female and male students were no significant difference with norm. There phobia factor of SCL90 in girls and had significant difference with boys. Conclusion The medical universities should increase the number of the male enrollers in nursing speciality to meet the need of clinical and society.
