OEM Method 3: How to become an excellent manufacturer of OEM
Brand firms, their survival lies on whether they have a sound marketing system, continued market innovation and so on; while the OEM makers, owing to its capital-intensive, technology-intensive, labor-intensive characteristics, investment, customer foundation, in the production process and quality control aspects of experience become the most critical elements.
Enterprises want to be a great OEM manufacturers will have to carefully analyze their situation, identify their comparative advantage --
First, the enterprises must have a sufficiently large capacity, able to provide a number of brand production, processing and products they need. If a brand’s production capacity will account for more than half of enterprises, companies also are subject to the fate of the brand, and if there are any changes, companies tend to suffer extinction. Only the production volume for each brand’s corporate capacity only 10% to 20%, can be regarded as normal.
Secondly, there must be an advanced automated manufacturing processes, because it determines the product quality and cost.
Again, have a modern management mode, and enterprises reasonable structure, operation efficiency, with strong cost control.
Finally, a very important point is the need to possess a certain degree of technical strength. Many OEM manufacturers that now competed for customers, price is no longer the most important factor, while the technical level and strength, has become their ability to manufacturer and brand equity ‘dialogue’ is the key. Therefore, the large number of OEM manufacturers in foreign countries began to establish R amp;amp; D institutions in order to keep track and grasp the latest technology.
