 PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 12 Patients with moderate to severe Alzheimer’s symptoms of neuropsychological Of: Ma Xiaoli, Dongle Dan, Ye Fu, summer leaves, He Jin Choi [Abstract] Objective: Neuropsychological testing tools used for moderate and severe Alzheimer’s disease (Alzheimer’s diease, AD) patients tested, comparing the severity of AD patients with cognitive and mental behavioral disorders. Methods: with MMSE, AVLT, ADAS-cog for moderate and severe AD patients with cognitive function tests, with the ADL, NPI assessment of their non-cognitive function. Results: With the extension of disease, AD patients sicker. moderate to severe AD patients the MMSE, AVLT, ADAS-cog, ADL, NPI scores were significantly worse than those with moderate AD. In MMSE test, both in time orientation, calculation, memory, language, and visual spatial skills using the five different sub-item were significant (P lt;0.05). in the AVLT test, both immediate memory and delayed recall there were significant differences (P lt;0.05). in the ADAS-cog test, both in the instruction memory, word recall to find words to understand the difficulties and language differences between the four sub-item was significant (P lt;0.05). in the ADL, the body take care of themselves, the difference was not statistically significant (Pgt; 0.05); in instrumental activities of daily living The difference was significant (P lt;0.05). neuropsychiatric symptoms in severe AD patients in the indifferent, the higher incidence rate of abnormal behavior. Conclusion: Overall, AD patients with more severe illness, cognitive function and worse self-care ability, the more severe psychiatric symptoms, but different between different symptoms.
