Methods Immunohistochemical S  P method, 2000  01 ~ 2005  12 in Shenyang Medical College Pathology Teaching and Research to collect the 49 patients with different stages of blood vessel tumors, 9 cases of vascular malformations and 5 normal vessels were PCNA expression detection. The results in hemangioma of PCNA positive expression rate of 48.98% (24/49); in the proliferative phase of the expression rate (64.52%, 20/31) than dissipated early (27.27%, 3 / 11) and dissipated late (14.29% , 1 / 7) (P lt;0.01). Conclusion PCNA expression in vascular tumors are clearly related to their stages; PCNA detection of hemangiomas and vascular malformations contribute to the differential diagnosis and treatment. All cases were collected in hospitals from January 2000 to December 2005.Results The positive rate of PCNA in hemangioma was 48.98% (24/49) with a higher expression rate at the proliferative stage (64.52%, 20/31) than at the earlier (27.27%, 3 / 11) or later paracmastic stage (14.29%, 1 / 7) (P lt;0.01). No expression of PCNA was found in normal blood vessels and vascular malformati
