Methods January 2007 ~ June 2008 8 patients were treated with abdominal bleeding intestinal fistula patients were before surgery bolus of recombinant activated 50g/kg factor, given gauze packing to stop bleeding in surgery. Results 8 patients were successfully stop the bleeding, 2 cases eventually lead to MODS and death due to infection, the remaining 6 patients were cured. Conclusion The damage control concept, the combination of recombinant activated filling factor and abdominal bleeding merger deal with intestinal fistula and effective treatment. [Keywords:] damage control, abdominal bleeding, gauze, intestinal fistula, recombinant activated factor Abstract: Objective To observe the effect of recombinant activated factor and abdominal packing in treating damage control surgery.Methods Eight patients with abdominal hemorrhea due to intestinal fistula were studied prospectively from January 2007 to June 2008.There were 7 male and 1 female.The mean age was (34.2 + -16.1 years old (23 60 years old). Recombinant activated factor (50g/kg) was administered by intravenous injection 10 minutes before operation, and abdominal packing was administrated.Results Bleeding was successfully stopped in 8 patients . At the end, six patients survived, and the other two patients died because of MODS.Conclusion Damage control surgery with abdominal packing and recombinant activated factor is an effective procedure for hemorrhea combined with intestinal fistula.
