Conclusion child health effects of passive smoking indoors is a risk factor of asthma in children caused by the control of passive smoking on the prevention of asthma in children is significant. Methods Using the unified epidemiological survey form, we carried on the questionnaire survey to 176 children with asthma and 1 202 parents whose children didn’t suffer from asthma to analyze whether the children and the mother gestation period were related to the passive smoking, the smoking quantity and the childhood asthma’s relations. Results The passive smoking children and the pregnant women increased the risk of suffering from childhood asthma.With the passive smoking quantity’s increasing, the risk of suffering from asthma also increased.It was suggested that the children and the pregnant women who were exposed in the cigarette smog environment could increase the risk of suffering from the childhood asthma.
