Methods: 99 patients hospitalized with schizophrenia were divided into 3 groups, respectively, risperidone, quinoline quetiapine, aripiprazole treatment for 8 weeks, fasting blood glucose before and after treatment, two-hour postprandial blood glucose and fasting lipids (triglycerides). Results: Houli Pei ketone group, the patients in quetiapine group of triglyceride level [(1.46 + -0.72) mmol / L, (1.40 + -0.65) mmol / L] higher than before treatment [(0.87 + -0.37) mmol / L, (1.24 + -0.70) mmol / L], the difference statistically significant (P lt;0.05); blood glucose levels before and after treatment in both groups no significant difference (Pgt; 0.05). aripiprazole blood glucose, blood lipid levels before and after treatment was no significant difference (Pgt; 0.05). Conclusion: taking risperidone, quetiapine can affect lipid metabolism, aripiprazole had no significant effect on glucose and lipid metabolism.
