Methods RP  HPLC method, in order to Waters Xterra RP18 (3.9 mm * 150 mm, 5.0 μ m) for the column; methanol   water-phosphoric acid (volume ratio 80:20:0.1) as mobile phase; detection wavelength: 440 nm; flow rate : 1.0 mL / min; column temperature: 30 ℃ . The results of emodin sample volume 0.352 4 ~ 1.762 0 μ g peak area was within the range of a good linear relationship, r = 0.999 9; the average recovery was 101.99%, RSD of 2.79% (n = 6). Conclusion The method was simple, rapid, accurate, and can be used as green compound bone gel method for the determination of emodin. Method The sample was analyzed on a Waters Xterra RP18 (3.9 mm * 150 mm, 5.0 μ m) column by using methanol  water  H3PO4 ( 80:20:0.1) as mobile phase. The detection wavelength was at 440 nm and flow rate 1.0 mL * min-1.Result The linear range of sinomenine was 0.352 4 ~ 1.762 0 μ g (r = 0.999 9). The average recovery was 101.99% with RSD 2.79% (n = 6). Conclusion This method is simple, rapid and accurate which could be used for determining the content of emodin in Fufang Qinggu gel.
