Teaching plan ;Teaching Objectives; 1. Make the students grasp the rules of simple past sentences and enable them to ask questions on the basis of simple past tense.
2.Enable the students to describe and talk about things happened in the past.
; The composition of simple past questions ;A combination of Task-Based Teaching、Communicative Teaching and Direct teaching;Ⅰ.Lead in:
Play a video about a Scott’s experience of one day.(10mins)
1.Ask the students to repeat the content.
2.Ask what Scott did on that day (T tries to use simple past questions).
;Ⅱ. While Teaching (5mins):
Observe the questions T has raised and let the students conclude the rules of simple past questions.;Ⅲ. Practice(20mins):
Pair work---Matching
Ordering
Sentence creating
Group work---asking and answering.
;Ⅳ. Summing up(3mins).
Sum up the composition of simple past questions and skills to ask and answer about things happened in the past.;Ⅴ. Assignment(2mins):
Ask the students to write an essay about their previous weekend.
Requirements: use the past tense.; Reflection:;Scott had a busy day last Saturday. He got up at 7:00. After that he brushed his teeth and took a shower. Then he ate his breakfast very fast. After breakfast he tried to take a taxi to go to work, and he waited and waited but there came no taxi. So he had to take bus number 17 instead. Because of the heavy traffic he finally arrived at the workplace at 9:15. He had two meetings in the morning and interviewed 4 university graduates for the report. He hardly had time for lunch.
When he finally came back to home, it was already 9 pm.

When did he send his first e-mail? He was at a party with my family.
