After that, ask the students: Besides using sand to create pictures, what other ways can you suggest? Step 2 Skimming (PPT) Have the students skim the text and answer the following questions: How many unusual ways to create pictures are mentioned in the passage? What are they? Step 3 Jigsaw reading (PPT) Organize the students into small groups of four to conduct a jigsaw reading. Each group member may only focus on one way to make unusual pictures and complete the chart below. When the given time is due, ask one student from each group to present his/her finding.
