Warm-up Activity (5 minutes) Guessing game on words and idioms around snow. Ask students to say these first, then show them in the form of ppt. in class. 2. Students’involvement activities(15 minutes) The students do multiple choice and translation of sample sentences in turn around 10 affixes in Chapter 12 , at the same time teacher may help them to explain some new words or useful expressions. 3. Interactive Word Study in Context: (25 minutes) Aim: applying the theory of lexicology in class; give the students very clear clues of certain words and their meanings; teach the students how to learn English vocabulary and train them skills of how to memorize the new words.
