Teaching Procedure leading Ask Ss the two questions;①which food do you prefer，meat or vegetables？②Do you like chips and chocolate？Then the teacher say: You have a bad eating habit .I think you should eat more fruit and vegetables.Then you’ll be healthier。Mow look at the boy on P15.What is he doing？Is he healthy？(yes) But do you know he was healthy one year ago？（No）.Now lets come to 1a. learning ①listen to the tape and answer the question: Was the boy healthy one year ago？{2minutes} ②watch the video ,work in pairs and finish 1b.(5 mimutes)Check the answers. ③Read 1a again.after reading ,work in groups of four . (1)know the meaning of 1a (2)Find ont the useful expressions in 1a 3.Teaching There are three useful expressions .They are very important: instead/instead of；build up；have fun doing sth .Using pictures ,the teacher makes sentences or give examples to teach them.. 4.Practice (1)Make sentences ,using Would you mind…？according to the four pictures. Finish 3a. (2)Read 3b,find out the expressions of making requests :suggesions: complaints and apologies 三．Have a text of this class（堂清） Give students five mimutes to recite the uesful expressions on the learning card . Check if the students grasped the important language points. 四 Homework : Finish the exercises of the Workbook in Section A.
